Big Girl Bed

Our exciting news for the month is that we finally got McKinley into a big girl bed. We were really nervous about how she would do. This kid is on the move 24/7, so we were afraid that if her bed didn't have rails on it we wouldn't keep her in it. We wanted to get her into a bed soon enough before the baby came that it wasn't going to be another big change for her. McKinley has done great in her big girl bed. She hasn't cried or gotten out of bed at all since changing beds. The first night she fell out of bed twice. We would go in to check on her after we heard the "thump", but McKinley would just climb back into her bed and go back to sleep. Now if only potty training could go this smoothly.

That's great! I remember Ella falling out of the bed so many times at first too.

Too cute! Moving into a big girl's bed is big deal. Good luck with the potty training. Oh, and we're trying out the doughnut recipe tonight. I'll let you know how it goes. (And aren't you getting close to finding out if you're having a boy or girl? Mason's really pulling for a boy. No pressure.)
